Flat Fee Conveyancing
seller lied about leasehold on flat.?
seller said the leasehold had been bought so i went ahead with valuation, mortgage product fee and Conveyancing Fees to the value of about £500. the sellers agents said the same as the seller put this down on hip. Turns out it has 60 years left on lease, they cant extend it and i cant get mortgage on it (which i no longer want because id have problems selling in future} Do i have any rights to claim money back?
Something not right here. The seller does own the leasehold of 60 years this is what he is transfereing to you. The Landlord owns the freehold. Did you think you were buying the freehold?, if so then the flat would not have been advertised as leasehold. Hips were stopped over a year ago, so why did you or your solicitor or the Agents refer to it. You need to talk this over with your Solicitor as it seems confusing.

Looking for a decent lawyer in Sydney, Australia?
I am having a de facto separation. I've seen a lawyer but he has given me a horrible environment. Been billed for me to read emails sent, including corrections to documents prepared for me. The separation is sufficiently difficult to have to deal with cockroaches. Has anyone gone through this, I might be able to recommend an honest lawyer (if there is such a thing) that does not come through as a scammer?

It's not what I think a silly internet contest from false and I read up on the laws relating to such things. And what agency I can file a complaint? The Attorney General?

(A) The following unfair acts or practices carried out by, or omissions of any person in the operation of any contest are prohibited: … (7) A failure to allocate and distribute all prizes of the value and type representation. (8) Representing directly or by implication. The number of participants has been significantly limited, or that any particular person has been selected to win a prize unless such is the fact of "Source: California Business and Professions Code http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/displaycode?section=bpc&group=17001-18000&file=17530 -17539.6 Thus, § 17539.1 (a) (7) requires the operator of the contest to award the prizes represented in the competition. In other words, it is illegal for them to say that you have won something if it really is not winning. If the contest operators are breaking the law, California law provides for detailed rules of criminal and civil penalties. What is best for uni Law / Media and Communications degree combined? University of Sydney, UNSW, UTS?
I am considering taking double degree listed above. If someone is the ex-students of the degree of any of these schools, how were your experiences? Did you know that any another person doing the same degree in any of the other universities? I live near UNSW, Sydney U but apparently has a power to legislate better.
